Convenient Bus and Ferry Travel from Stockholm-Arlanda to Gotland Starting May 2024

Beginning May 3, 2024, a new bus service will offer seamless travel from Stockholm-Arlanda Airport to Nynäshamn, providing direct access to ferries heading to Gotland. This service, operated by Destination Gotland, is designed to enhance the transportation network and simplify journeys for travelers and tour operators alike.

The bus route includes 15 strategic stops, ensuring comprehensive coverage and convenience. Additionally, a return bus service will be available for passengers arriving at Nynäshamn from Gotland, facilitating smooth travel connections back to Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.

Key routes covered by this new service include:

  • Stockholm Central – Nynäshamn

  • Uppsala – Arlanda – Stockholm – Nynäshamn

  • Västerås – Enköping – Strängnäs – Södertälje – Nynäshamn

Other routes connecting to Oskarshamn include:

  • Linköping – Norrköping – Västervik – Oskarshamn

  • Jönköping – Nässjö – Vetlanda – Oskarshamn

  • Växjö – Lessebo – Kalmar – Oskarshamn

Travelers can book tickets for these transfer buses through Destination Gotland's website when arranging their ferry trips. Bus schedules are coordinated with ferry departure and arrival times in both Oskarshamn and Nynäshamn to ensure a seamless travel experience.

These buses are equipped with free onboard Wi-Fi, offering a comfortable journey without the hassle of additional transportation arrangements. Tickets are valid for up to three months from the date of purchase, and children aged 0-12 can travel free when accompanied by an adult.
