Starting October 31, 2024, Norwegian will introduce a new flight route from Stockholm Arlanda Airport to Tromsø, significantly enhancing connectivity between Sweden's capital and northern Norway. This new service will operate twice weekly, with flights scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays.

This expansion at Stockholm Arlanda marks Norwegian’s continued growth in the Scandinavian region. Tromsø, the largest city in northern Norway, is situated 350 kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. Known for its breathtaking landscapes and a plethora of activities, Tromsø offers visitors the chance to experience hiking, whale watching, and other outdoor adventures.

From September to March, travelers can marvel at the Northern Lights, a natural phenomenon that illuminates the night sky with vibrant colors. Meanwhile, from May to July, the Midnight Sun provides a unique experience with 24 hours of daylight, perfect for exploring the stunning surroundings at any hour.

This new route not only makes it easier for Swedish travelers to visit Tromsø but also boosts tourism in northern Norway, offering more options for those looking to explore the Arctic’s natural beauty.
