Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is set to enhance travel options to Sweden with new direct winter flights from various international locations. For the 2024/2025 winter season, SAS will introduce direct routes to Kiruna and Scandinavian Mountains Airport (Sälen/Trysil), along with additional flights to Åre-Östersund and Luleå.

Starting December 12, 2024, SAS will launch a direct route from Copenhagen to Kiruna, operating on Thursdays and Sundays. This service is tailored to key international markets and promises a convenient schedule, complementing the existing Stockholm-Kiruna route.

Additionally, a new direct route from Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) to Kiruna will commence on December 21, 2024, and run until March 8, 2025. These flights will be available on Saturdays, featuring a morning departure to Kiruna and an afternoon return to Paris.

The Scandinavian Mountains Airport in Dalarna will also see new direct flights from Copenhagen, Aalborg, and London Heathrow during the winter season. The UK route will operate on Sundays from February 2 to March 30, 2025.

Furthermore, SAS is increasing the number of flights from Stockholm Arlanda to Åre-Östersund in Jämtland/Härjedalen and to Luleå. Additional flights from Copenhagen and Oslo to these destinations will also be available, providing more options for travelers seeking to explore Sweden’s winter landscapes.

These new and expanded routes underscore SAS's commitment to enhancing accessibility to Sweden’s premier winter destinations, making it easier for international visitors to experience the country’s unique seasonal offerings.
