Pack something to eat and drink on board and enjoy a trip through central Malmö with the first self-service electric boat rental in the Nordic region.
Activity
Electric boats for hire with space for up to 12 people in each boat. The trip passes several of Malmö’s well-known buildings and historic sights and through the green and leafy Kungsparken.
Additional information
During the trip there is a possibility to listen to a pre-recorded guided tour in English.
There are cafés and restaurants nearby so the group can bring own food and drink on the boats.
Free wi-fi available at the BookaBoat dock.
No prior experience necessary.
There is parking for tourist buses and a multi-storey car park about 100 m from the dock.
Facts
What is included: Life-jackets, cushions and blankets, rain capes, captain’s or pirate’s hat and map with suggested routes.
Activity duration: Boats hired by the hour. Recommended time 1–3 hours.
When: 1 April – 30 October, every day 9:00–23:00.
Where: The boats are moored at BookaBoat’s own dock on the canal at Norra Vallgatan 93, opposite Malmö Live. By agreement, you can arrange to pick up or drop off the boat somewhere else.
Age group: Suits all ages. At least one person in each boat must be aged 18 or older.
Level of physical exertion: Very little. Malmö’s canals are quiet and the boats are made to be very easy to handle.
Group Size: From 1 to max. 48 persons sharing our 3 boats. Recom- mendation for optimum comfort: 8-10 persons.
Language spoken: English.
Worth knowing: As this is an outdoor activity, wear the right clothing for the weather. The boats are built to travel on Malmö ́s canals, and it is not permitted to go out on the open water.
Ecolabelling: The boats are powered by renewable electricity from wind power, to give you a fossil-, noise- and exhaust-free trip.
