A true nature experience
Join us for an unforgettable weekend in the deep forests of Dalarna, known for its beautiful nature, culture and traditional local produce. Only 2 hours from Stockholm/Arlanda but well hidden from other travellers, lies a beautiful island in the middle of a small mountain lake. Guests on this island get to experience Swedish nature by fishing, foraging for edible plants and mushrooms and cooking over an open fire with locally produced organic ingredients. In the evening we enjoy local craft beer and Swedish wine by the fire, accompanied by a variety of local cheeses and game charcuterie. When night falls, guests can choose between different comfy sleeping arrangements in the woods. Nordic reindeer skins, fluffy pillows, tipi-tents, or perhaps a night in a tree tent stretched abo- ve the ground between mighty pines?
What’s included?
The price of a ticket includes all equipment in
the camp, food and drinks. Tents, sleeping bags, sleeping mats, open fire cooking gear, fishing boat, fishing and foraging equipment. Knives, axes and so on. Most of the food served and cooked is organic and locally produced. Same goes for the non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Guests get to learn different bushcraft skills and gain insights into local culture.
From the woods to a castle
After 2 nights on the island, there is an opportuni- ty to completely change environment and spend
a luxurious final night in a nearby castle, Garpen- bergs Slott. Champagne and a three-course dinner is served upon arrival, followed by a lovely final night spent in the northernmost castle in Sweden.
