Finnlines Expands Malmö-Travemünde Services to Meet Growing Passenger Demand

In response to a significant increase in passenger numbers, Finnlines is enhancing its offerings on the Malmö-Travemünde route. Following the successful launch of a new route between Malmö and Poland in April, the shipping company continues to bolster its presence in Malmö.

As part of the upgrades, Finnlines is introducing a new dining experience aboard the Finnswan. The recently opened Bistro Navigare, which began serving passengers at the end of June, offers a menu featuring salads, hamburgers, and fish & chips. This new restaurant can accommodate up to 24 guests, providing a cozy and enjoyable dining atmosphere.

In addition to the Finnswan, the other two ships on the route, Finnpartner and Finntrader, will also undergo refurbishments. Passengers can look forward to redesigned lounge areas on these vessels, offering enhanced comfort and space for up to 60 passengers each. These improvements aim to provide a more pleasant and relaxing journey for all travelers.

The expansion of services and the introduction of new amenities come as a direct response to the growing popularity of the Malmö-Travemünde route. In the first five months of 2024, Finnlines saw a notable rise in passenger traffic compared to the same period last year. By enhancing the travel experience, Finnlines is committed to meeting the needs of its passengers and ensuring a superior journey between Sweden and Germany.

Plan your next trip with Finnlines and enjoy the upgraded services and facilities on the Malmö-Travemünde route this summer.
